How might we connect teachers to essential classroom resources?
Teachers are struggling in classrooms. In 2019, class sizes in TDSB (Toronto District School Board) high schools started to increase. Students of all ages are experiencing social media addiction and poor mental health at higher rates while receiving record lows academically.
Problem

Academic research revealed systemic injustices and neurodivergent adults & youth experiences.
Neurodivergent youth have worse mental health then their peers
Classrooms aren't designed for neurodivergent minds
Neurodivergent people struggle to access support systems
Neurodivergent people are over represented in creative fields

Youth lacked autonomy and felt like their lives were predetermined
Students prioritized grades over comprehension
